Re: Neely's 14th. Cav. - men of Hardeman, Co. Tn.

I have been researching my family for about 14 years. My great grandfather was Elam Richardson, I don't think he was in the Army, he was born in Montgomery, Co. N.C. in 1828 (died from TB in 1882 Crockett, Co. Tn.). His parents John R. and Rebecca Reynolds-Richardson, Jr. moved to Mt. Pinson, Madison, Co. Tn. in 1842. Elam had three brother's Thomas Jefferson Richardson, was with Wilson's 21st. Cav. along with the Parker's, Simpson's, Jenkins, they were all kin, and moved to Dyer, Co. Tn. in 1870.

George Richardson, was with Capt. F. Newsom's. George's father-in-law Washington F. Bell, was with Capt. Williams, 19th. Cav. Mr. Bell lost his leg at Harrisburg, Miss. Samuel R. Richardson, was in the 31st. Inf., but came home sick in 1863. Then Forrest men took his back to Miss. with them. (It was told me by a cousin, that all three brother's, and other kin were at Brice's Crossroad, in Miss.) They was another cousin George W. Richardson, Jr. from Hardeman, Co. Tn. that was with Co. E. 21st. Cav. My great grandmother's brother James Edward Davis, was in the 19th. Cav.

All this information was from cousin's. Are they Book's you can buy with all this information?
