The Parker's that my Thomas Jefferson Richardson, married in to was the family of Dempsey Parker, and wife Sarah L. Baley (Baily?). You can find them in the 1850 census.

Susan H. - 9 b. Tn. married Eli Jenkins ..also from Montgomery, Co. N.C.
Mary Jane - 7 b. Tn. married Thomas J. Richardson .. also from Montgomery, Co. N.C.
Sarah Ann - 5 married George Simpson - from McNairy, Co. Tn.
Redford - married Mary Jane Richards
Now, Eli Jenkins, Thomas (Tom) J. Richardson, George Simpson, were in the CSA, Cav. together, I think it was Wilson's 21st Cav. All these guys moved together.. to Dyer, Co. after the War.

The other family of Parker's was Henry Sharp Parker, they lived 7 doors away from the other Parker's. All on page # 23 - 1850 Census for the Medon, area. Living one door down was my 2nd. great grandparents Berry Allen Davis, and more kin the Gattis's, Warren's, Butler's. Berry Davis's son James Edward Davis, was with the 19th. Cav.
The Gattis, Warren's, Richardson's, Boswell's, and the Davis are kin. George Gattis, died not long after the War Between the States, in Chester, Co. Tn. his wife was Amanda Davis, daughter to Berry Davis.
Thomas Jefferson Richardson's brother was my great grandfather Elam Richardson, he married one of Berry A. Davis's daughter's Jane Davis. Another brother George Richardson, married one of Berry A. Davis, daughter Sarah F. Davis. George was with Capt. Newsom, Co. F.
Have you read the Book - "That Devil Forrest", by John Allan Wyeth? I got my Book from the dads brother Fred Richardson, from Crockett, Co. Tn. I have read it 7 times. It is to bad we don't have another Bedford Forrest, in our Army today!
