saw your post on the Trans-Mississippi message board re the Marshall 5th Iowa Cav. diaries at Duke University.

Am VERY interested in these for the time period when the 5th Iowa Cavalry occupied the area in/around Ft. Henry.

Would LOVE to see if there is any mention of my Byrd ancestors there in District 8 of Stewart County fersure...!!!!

Is there anything like a online index of contents for these available...?????
