Hope this info helps anyone researching their Civil War ancestor. So many of the Tennessee Confederate soldiers were treated and/or died in these Virginia hospitals. Also, many of the Tennessee soldiers made it out of the USA POW camps and were received at some of these Richmond hospitals. Tennessee should be thankful for the hospitals in Virginia, Mississippi, and Georgia where so many of her men were treated and unfortunately died.
