I made a quick look on Rootsweb and I think Lorenzo Rowe is probably the one you are looking for information. He was born circa 1842, Carter Co., TN to John L Rowe and Rachel L (or T.) Peoples. Interesting that the Thomas Rowe who enlisted in the same unit is also the son of John and Rachel Lowe. Knowing L.D.'s wife's name could help with researching the genealogy records.
