Re: Krick's "Lee's Colonels" and grave sites

Wonderful. I had Zimmerman and Jeffords but not Morgan. Thanks.

Per conversation with the staff of Orangeburg Historical Society, Lt. Colonel Paul Agabus McMichael, 20th SC, is buried in the Willow Swamp Church Cemetery, Orangeburg County, South Carolina. I have not been there to confirm.

Colonel Thomas Jamison Glover, 1st SC, was mortally wounded at 2nd Manassas, VA. This officer is buried in Orangeburg, South Carolina in the Old Presbyterian Church Cemetery. His marker is a symbolically broken column w/ wreath atop it. It is to the left after entering gate. David Flavel Jamison (not in book), SC Secession Convention notable, is also buried here.

Major John Vinyard Glover, 25th SC, was mortally wounded at Cold Harbor. This officer is buried in the Old Episcopal Church Cemetery in Orangeburg, South Carolina. The church is no longer there. The cemetery remains however. It is located off highway 601 in Orangeburg.

Thanks again.
