One word....WOW! Thank you SO MUCH for the information! I knew Wiley was hospitalized (sick) prior to being shot. I have the text from his lengthy obituary. Would you want a copy?? I also have a very large photo (painting?) of him in uniform (we believe it to be him) - my grandmother cherished it and he was her grandfather.

Do you have any information on Private Berry Washington Bagwell in the same company? He was WIley's brother who died in Adam's Run in Charleston County, SC on June 15, 1862.

Again, thank you for information my family didn't have! Can't wait to share.
