My research indicates that Private C.P. Brothers, Company H, was carrying the colors when he was shot in the right leg and ankle. He was wrestling with Daly at that moment. Brothers had self discharged from the hospital to accompany the 11th on the attack. Brothers would lose the leg on October 2nd. I hope this helps you. Neil
