Edward, we have spoken on this subject before. Prior to the War for Southern Independence, the Constitution appeared to work well most of the time and it was often cited to promote an argument by one side over another. The Lincoln regime ignored the Constitution and it has never been the same. All of these modern problems we have with the federal government meddling in peoples lived and taking jurisdiction over matters forbidden in the Constitution are directly attributable to the behavior of the federal government during Recent Unpleasantness.
