Yes, Dennis, I was agreeing with you, but I picked your last paragraph to emphasize the usurpation of powers by the government, in violation of the Constitution. One thing they have done is mandate the states to enforce federal acts. They have not always won here. When the instant background check started, the Feds made it a state responsibility, but provided no funds to accomplish the checks. A sheriff in Either Montana or one of the Dakotas refused, stating that it was the Feds' responsibility to enforce their own laws. This time, he won in Court. And, in the Heller case, the Supreme Court held that the Second Amendment guaranteed a right to the people as individuals, and not to the state militia.
