I agree Joe. The states really did not see a great need for a central government, outside of providing for the common defence, when the Constitution was written. They were use to handling their own problems themselves.

This country abandoned that Constitution in 1865, when one section of this country thought it could impose it collective will upon another section. We have lived under a sham of a Constitution since then. But I am glad that at least some people are going back and reading the Constitutionn again and saying 'what was wrong with state soveriegnty?' At least we are starting to realize that Abraham Lincoln's collective socialism can get out of control.
