Hope you can help, ggreadfathér John M Norwood, Company D, 43 Regiment Infantry was capture in Vicksburg, MS. Sent to parole camp in Columbus, MS. The next thing I have found on him is was capture near Nashville, TN sent to prison in Kentucky then to Camp Douglass. I can not find out how he got from the parole to being a prisoner in Camp Douglas. Any help will be appreciated
