CSA letters honor Lincoln/Lawrence Co. soldiers

April 9 is the day that the Mississippi Shiloh Monument will be dedicated at Shiloh.

This event will touch many proud descendants and kin of the Mississippi men who fought and died there.

In honor and memory of the Confederate soldiers from Lawrence / Lincoln Counties in Mississippi, I am posting excerpts from my book, The Confederate Letters of the Price Family of Lincoln Co., Miss., 1861 - 1863.

There are 21 letters written before and immediately after Shiloh by men of the 7th Miss. Inf. of Lawrence / Lincoln Co., Miss.

Several photos are included, most from the Bonnie Lou Cole Collection.

Because they are NOT FORGOTTEN,

/Anna
