While examining one of the shells thrown from Pickens, during the recent bombardment, Corporals W. F. Leggett and J. D. Patterson were killed and J. H. Lofflin wounded, at Pensacola, on the 3d inst. They were members of the "Coving Fencibles," 24th Mississippi Regiment.
