Looking for info on private James Prentiss, upon checking his info for an ancestor to join our Greene County Gaines Warriors scv camp #2215, I notice he is not listed on the role found on Ancestry.com for the 3rd, this can be seen on this link http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~mscivilw/3rdbnmsinf.htm

What i have from Ms Archives states that, James Prentiss was a private who was discharged on 4/26/1865 from the 3rd batt miss inf, any info as to his proper unit, way he was discharged "oath" paroled" etc. would be appreciated, his intial enrolment unit and ending.
