After I replied to your post , I realized that I may have sounded rude. That was not my intent. I'm new to this board and thought
that I may have been violating the rules of getting "off topic" . Your right, our ancestors served in various units thought the state.
Our cousin Lt. William Magee served in Co. I " Washington Rifles" of the 9th Louisiana.
