Great to hear from you!

Splunge, MS, is located about 12 miles due east of Amory, MS, and about two miles due west of the AL state line.

If you go to:

and click on "Palmer Memorial," you will see photos of the recent memorial for Pvt. Palmer of the 3rd MS.

The pictures that show a small field of what looks like little, brown sections of pipe planted upright are pictures of the supposed burial site of the Franklin dead brought back from the battlefield by Capt. Henry Jerome Bonaparte Lann of the 43rd MS.

I will share info as it becomes available.
