Our Perryville data base has Pvt. G.W. Anders listed as being in Company B, Major Hawkins' 15th MS SS, S.A.M. Wood's Brigade, WIA 10/8/62. Buried at Harrodsburg, KY; the Confederate markers at Springhill Cemetery are nameless, so the source of the claim for that burial is unclear. It is also a little surprising to see a guy from Withers' Division staying behind to fight with Patton Anderson.
