Mr.Parsons, We,as historians and enthusiasts, search these records and diaries etc.etc. Ive found out that "all" was not documented....even commands. The Battle of Harrisburg especially....Lee didnt want to project anything negative for Forrest. Battle of Harrisburg was a loss for us,with heavy casualties. My grandfather wrote another letter to my grandmother saying that it was a most "unsatisfactory campaign"....After Harrisburg & soon as he reached Aberdeen, Col.Polk was ordered with 500 troops on a train to Alabama,by Gen. Stephen D. Lee.The threat was of course,Rousseaus Raid.If it were not for the few letters I have I would have not known that Col. Polk was in all these battles because its not documented...wonder how many others are not documented ? Also, please join our Facebook group which was just formed...its called The North Mississippi Sesquicentennial Civil War Battalion...we thought Facebook would be a good tool to inform all of Sesquicentennial activities in North Miss.,West Tenn. & Alabama...since the federal govt.is leaving it up to the states...you and I are it.... Please join us Mr. Parsons..I will leave a link
