Confederate Records are sketchy,especially during this time period & in Mississippi....many soldiers who fought....& died were not even listed.Like Mr. Pitts said,check the spelling again on the last name. One of my relatives was in command of the 1st Miss. and Reynolds Battalion at Harrisburg & I cant find anything written on any of them even being there. ?? Good luck !
