The R. Anderson on the muster roll of the 7th Mississippi Infantry Co. C "Ellisville Invincibles" was Richmond Anderson, son of Isaac Anderson of Ellisville, Mississippi.
Richmond was captured at Vicksburg and killed in the Atlanta theatre. He first enlisted in the 8th Mississippi Co. K in 1861.
