Re: Lt. William H. Harmon, Company I

Dear Friends of the 42nd Mississippi Infantry. I am trying to help a gentleman find the final resting place of his great-great grandfather, Lt. William H. Harmon, Company I, of the 42nd Mississippi. Lt. William Harmon was mortally wounded on the 1st day of the Battle of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. According to one record, he died on July 20th, 1863 of the wounds received in battle. I have called Gettysburg, and they have no record of his burial. I have tried Hollywood Cemetery in Richmond without success, unless he is in an unmarked grave there. If anyone can suggest where I might find his burial place, I would be most grateful. You may e-mail me direct at Lass53@aol.com
