Re: Update on Lt. William Harmon

Yes, it's Fred that I am trying to help. He is currently serving our country in Afghanistan, and doesn't have access to records here. We did find a burial in Oakwood for W. H. Herman, which could very well be W. H. Harmon. I need to see if we can find an article about the death of William H. Harmon, to confirm that he is buried in Oakwood. My other project is to visit the National Archives, and look for dates of death for soldiers with the same or similar names to W. H. Harmon. I want to see if I can find W. H. Herman, and find out if he is buried at Oakwood. I know it's going to be a long shot, and I've been told my another man posting on here, that the records won't show place of burial. So I may be making the trip to the Archives for nothing, but I have to try.
