Hospital records and location of a grave

Hey y'all. I was wondering if there's any way I can get hospital records for N.J. Smith, Co. B, 3rd Mississippi Infantry. According to his service records, he "died 24 July, Macon Hospital from effects of wounds rec'd 20 July near Atlanta Ga". And "appears on a list of casualties in Featherston's Brigade in the engagement near Peach Tree Creek, Ga, July 20, 2864....wounded severely". Unfortunately, that's all I know.

Is there any way I can get a hospital record of his brief stay?

Also, I've tried searching for his grave location but can't seem to find it. I'm assuming he's buried in Georgia.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've posted this on the Georgia board, too.

Thanks!
