I appreciate it Jim! So, Thomas Jefferson Yager was killed Mar 07, 1862 and his brother-in-law, Capt. Thompson T. Alford suceeded command of Captain Thomas B. Wilson on November 24, 1863...
Capt. Thompson T. Alford died Jul 02, 1918 at Vandalia, Audrain County, Missouri and was buried in the Vandalia Cemetery.
Were the Confederates killed at Elk Horn (Pea Ridge) given burial? Do we know what happened to those men?
