I should said this was ammunition on hand on Aug. 13 1864. I do not know total production . I do not know if from 1862 to 1864 numbers. I guess I will have to more homework on this. For fun of it I did see a Cook Brother Naval Cutlass for on the web site I check for weapons. I no longer collect them, but I like keep what is still out there and most of is well out my price range , but it does not hurt to look .
I try to share what little knowledge I have with folks for what it is worth.
