These were well made weapons. There of p-53 pattern of British Enfield and parts will fit on British Enfield . The bayonets were of sabre type Two types One made in New Orleans type II made Athens Ga, after they left New Orleans and move to Athens , Ga . Also while in New Orleans they made Naval cutlass. I will have dig in archives of William A . Albaugh III books also Hardin book on American Bayonets. I will also have chase the NRA magazine on shooting Confederate long arms and they were arcuate this was in 1955 American Rifleman.
