Dear Mr. Rushing;
You mention the stones just show up without any notice.
I was never aware that the V A would notify a person.
The Eighteen - Wheeler shows up and the Driver insist that they must be unlaoded immediately.
He sets them off in the yard.
Also, they say the stones weigh 180 pounds.
However as you know they are not uniform.
Some may weigh 180 pounds it would appear some weigh twice that much.
Quite a problem.
So the Driver sets them off in the yard for the person to deal with.
And always at the most in - conveint time.
In the past, when we were younger, we could handle it.
However, we have now gotten old and have had to make other arrangements.
Our Monument place here is very helpful.
For (I think) $100.00 he will receive the stone, take charge of it and place it in the cemetery.
It appears to be money well spent.

I have mentioned all this to say,
One should have the arrangements made when the order is placed.
