But there were 3 skirmishes on 2 different dates at Deloges Bluff , Benton's forces being the morning of 4.26....Cornay's the afternoon of 4.26. in which Cornay was killed...and another skirmish on 4.27, correct ?
My question is-
Did Benton's attack and Cornay's attack occur from the same vantage point atop the bluff,or, were they at two different locations on the bluff ?
For the transports to beach on the East side of the river and have so many captured so quickly,Gen. St. John Liddell's forces must have been on the East side as well...
David Porter...if I judge him ,let me give him a lot of room...there's one in every bunch...and like Forrest Gump "that's all I'm gonna say bout that".
