I wish I were reading the papers online, but, alas and alack, I'm having to either go to the New Orleans public library (main branch, downtown), or order them from Inter-Library Loan, as I have a great (and relatively cheap) manual microfilm reader at home.

I also have a "working file" on the Orleans Fire Battalion and the Louisiana Fire Battalion (both of which were from the New Orleans area).
