I am currently researching the 1st kentucky Regiment in relation to the first battle of Manassas (see www.firstbullrun.co.uk) and came across your book, Kentucky soldiers and their regiments in the Civil War: abstracted from the pages of contemporary Kentucky newspapers, which would help to complete my orders of battle when Lieutenant Colonel Thomas Taylor was assigned in August 1861. Do you have any information on Lieutenant Colonel Thomas Taylor's assignment as the regiment was formed from the 1st Kentucky Battalion, Major Claiborne and Lieutenant Colonel Thomas Taylor's Battalion. Was this Anderson's Battalion? I am based in the UK so could I order a PDF copy of your book for 1861?
