By my best estimates there were 3,400 (m.o.l.) Union troops at Honey Springs; I derived these numbers from the daily reports in the Supplimental ORs and from the original reports in the ORs which accompanied General Blunt's report.
I also think that Cooper had at most 5,400 effective troops and that number might have been as low as 5,100.
