Unrelated to Kingston but your post prompted me to ask... Do you know how to locate the original handwritten documents that are in the ORs? There are several cases where the transcriber apparently could not make out a word or simply made an error, particularly regarding the Indian Territory and Indian names unfamiliar to the transcriber. There are several reports/correspondence in the ORs that I would like to see a handwritten copy. Do you know how I might go about locating them and also finding someone to copy them for me?
