Hey George, No I have not read the book or even saw it however I do know of its existence. Finding the last true Confederate veteran is nearly an impossible task in my opinion. Different authors have different opinions on the subject and part of the problem is the very definition of Confederate soldier. Mr. Marvel as an example listed someone else as the last living Confederate. With the loss of many Confederate records it will never be accurate in my line of thinking.
