Ed, Good hear from a compatriot and camp member. I am a member of the Brig. Gen. T.R.R. Cobb Camp, SCV. I saw your name on the roster and your ancestor, 2nd Lt. Donnahoo. My great uncle, Alexander "Sandy" Leckie, served in the same company, Co. H., he survived the war and returned home. He was born in Scotland and he and his family immigrated to the USA and settled in Hall Co., GA. where he died in 1913.
I found it interesting that Alexander, his brothers, including my great grandfather James Leckie, all served in the Confederate Army. All from a family of immigrates.
