More outstanding "gets" and thanks. You guys are sharp. I am not trying to find out who people in tintypes are and who person with photo on glass is but it looks to be relative from 1900's. A beautiful and sad eyed woman who is a mystery to me. I have a photo made in 1925 of my entire family including H. H. Flanigan, my great, grandmother, grandmother, father and aunt. Flanigan is wearing some kind of tiny medal on his chest that looks like a cross. He has his long white beard. Archer Avary's photo is of a many of 80 years made in 1926. His posture is amazine. He is standing ramrod straight and looking the camera right in the eye. He has an old pistol in his right hand and wearing his CSA uniform.
