Confederate Uniform

I have a signed statement from Archer Avary dated 1926 saying that the confederate uniform in his photo of the same year is the actual uniform he was issued in 1864. My brother has the photo and the signed statement fro A.A. I am going to get it all preserved and restored. I am surprised the paper has lasted and I bet he was buried in that uniform in 1937. I need to get hold of his living relatives to reunite and ask them some of these questions. I also have a tintype of someone I believe is A. A.'s mother or sister. She is dressed in 1840-60 style clothing. I restored and preserved some of my G,G Grandfather's papers. They need to be stored in non-acidic paper folder. My brother and sister just have the stuff in a drawer. I wonder if I can get copies of my relatives parole papers. I had my G,G F's parole but my sister grabbed it to give to my niece. She will probably lose it. I can't even get my father's military file since VA claims it was burned in 1973 fire. They are fine liars and lazy as hell. I know from trying to get my own records.
