William Flanigan was Henry's young brother. He got a leave based on helping to enlist his younger brother so he could go home in 1865 for a month. So there were three brothers: Henry, James and William Flanigan who all joined up around age 17-18. Two were in 63rd Ga. and one was in another outfit. Then there was Archer Avary who was in Cobb's Legion who joined up in October 1864. I have lost track of all relatives on my father's side who had ancestors who fought in the Civil War. They had huge families and I just don't know why we lost track except all my Great, Grandmother's sons and daughters left her in care of my grandmother and split.
