I haven't had an opportunity to read this book (frankly,didn't know about it until this thread) but I did watch the video. A couple of questions come to mind. He states that Mary Lyon Jones created the first flag, is there any documented evidence of this claim?
This also leads me to my next thought: Are their any plans for any scholarly publications on the subjects of flags in the works? I know there are several people on this site who could certainly fill that void left by Mr. Madaus. His army of Tennessee flag book is unprecedented but I'm sure there is new information that could be added the topic of AOT flags. As far as ANV flags, I have seen very little in regards to them. I know that it may not be a very profitable venture but at least there would be a reference for future generations.
