The Van Dorn variant flag of the 3rd Louisiana Infantry in private hands also has the unit designation and battle honors. This flag had not turned up yet when Howie did his AOT flags book. This was lost at Iuka if memory serves - it is mentioned in Tunnard's unit history of the 3rd Louisiana.
