.. Thank you for sharing those pics. Echoing Dave's comments that you provided the image that we had been chatting about. Difficult to explain it. We all know and concur that they are better preserved now. But the visual impact of seeing all those flags hanging like a canopy of honor surrounding you would take your breath away. The many thousands that camped, marched, fought and died under those very same banners. Hanging there in silent tribute to those it represented and their noble deeds and sacrifices. True Dave, dont think there are many of us around that remember or experienced that.
