As of 2005 the following USCT flag were at West Point

#2575 − 5th Heavy Artillery, regimental color
#2656 − 12th Infantry, national color
#2657 − 12th Infantry, regimental color
#2660 − 37th Infantry, national color
#3018 − 59th Infantry, regimental color
#3018 − 68th Infantry, national color
#3020 − 114th Infantry, regimental color

The majority of USCT colors were declared “non-historic” by a board of officers prior to WWII and destroyed. Some of the survivors were transferred to other Army museums in 1950, some of which maybe seen at the Museum Branch, Center of Military History, if they still have them.

In 1999, the web site Tennessee State Library, “Blacks in the Union Army of Tennessee” had the 44th USCT flags as being captured at Dalton, GA 10/1864. If a source for the capture was listed on the site, I did not see it or take notes, if it was there I would have a note on it.
