Yes, I rechecked - it was the 105th PA infantry, I apparently was thinking and typing two different things - but Serial number range for this gun falls into the 105th PA Infantry as well as the 4th KY MTD Inf and 6th Indiana.

Again, these ranges are often used just to help reduce the possibilities and a good place to start to find what regiment that it could have been issued to. Sometimes you'll find it, sometimes you won't.
