Re: buck and ball versus rifled musket

According to a invoice dated August 5th, 1863 - from Eley Bros to Caleb Huse - 330,000 Austrian Cartridges; 234,000 Buck and Ball; 375,000 Enfield Cartridges. pg99 Roundball to Rimfire.

I had an original Confederate cavalry ordnance requisition and it listed the cartridges on hand or had captured, I will see if I can find the scans of the original.

Also perusing through the book above, I noticed that nearly every major Confederate arsenal was still producing Buck and Ball as late as 1864. I cannot find quantities as of yet.
