I believe it was published in the Confederate States Medical and Surgical Journal, June, 1864 by Surgeon E. Lloyd Howard, 27th Regt. North Carolina Infantry. Now lay me down to sleep, so I can have visions of BUCK AND BALL dancing in my head.
