Thank you sir! Borage had been commissioned as a Captain of his militia company in December, 1860, so he was entitled to the title. I don't think Hindman had claim to a military commission yet. I think the ship sized at Pine Bluff was the Sky Lark, not the Silver Wave
Borage is writing years after the war and I think hour got confused. Newspapers in Memphis, Nashville and Louisville KY all reported the seizure of the Silver Wave at Napoleon. There is a also a contemporary report that names the Sky Lark as the ship seized at Pine Bluff. It would have been an easy mistake for Bocage to make years later because both of these ships were regulars in this part of the country.
