H G. P. Williams-Lieut. Col. Cdg Infy [Portion] Dockery's Brig-"I carried into action nearly 400 men, divided into 4 small dtchmts, under Captains Drewry & Etris, Major Southerland, & Lt Gillespie, composing the Infantry portion of Gen Dockery's Bgde.

The dismtd casuals of Dockery's Bgde had been formed in to a Regt of 4 Co’s under Lt Col. H. G. P. Williams’ command attached to Churchill's Div
15th Ark Inf, under Capt. Austin K. Etris
18th Ark Inf, under Maj. Samuel H. Southerland
19th Ark Inf, under Capt. Thomas M. Drewery
12th Ark Bn, under First Lieut. James A. Gillespie

11/29/64 HQ 3rd consol regt Ark Inf McNair's bgde, Camp Lee-Col H G P Williams-recommends Sgt Spinks [sp] Co D 15th Ark [Port Hudson troops] as Lt-Capt John Meak cdg regt. This regt is now consol with the 19th & 20th Ark as the 3rd Consol per Dept Orders. It has been regularly mustered and the muster rolls sent to Richmond. Spinks' unit now consolidated and co is 5th co of 3rd Ark consol. He has been acting as an ensign since 7/22. H G P Williams Col cdg regt
