Thanks, I just wanted to check on it to make sure. I did find his CSR for 11 & 17 Arkansas where he is listed as dying on Oct 9 1862 at Clinton, MS. One other with 11th showed he was transported to VXbg when they were released from camp D ouglas so I feel this is the correct.death date. Usually, if the man is listed under the consolidated regt he actually did get released
