Stoney Point, Arkansas

About two weeks after the Battle of Pea Ridge, one part of the Confederate Army left Van Buren and took a route through Clarksville, Dover, Springfield, and Stoney Point in White County to get to the steamboats at Des Arc, Arkansas. I read the following account about a year ago. The army with 600 wagons left Stoney Point and dropped into the flooded Cypress Bayou bottoms to cross the Bayou on its way to Des Arc. This event would have taken place in late March of 1862. I'm looking for the source I read this in, I think it was a book, but not sure. I'm going through my sources, but haven't found it yet. My problem is the civil war map shows Stoney Point about 5 miles from where Stoney Point is located today. I think the old map is wrong, all the other towns around Stoney Point, like Austin, Searcy, Hickory Plains and Des Arc are in the right location, but Stoney Point would be near Bull Creek and on low ground. I think the account of the Cavalry and the 600 wagons crossing Cypress Bayou would clear this up. Any help here.
