Three companies of the 10th Arkansas Inf were from Van Buren County, but these areas may not have become part of Stone County. Co. A "Quitman Rifles", Co. C "Choctaw Rifles", and Co. G " Red River Riflemen". The Red River Riflemen would probably be the closes fit.
